Fremont-Rideout Health Group Appoints Administrator of Fremont Medical Center
(YUBA CITY – Calif.) - Theresa Hamilton, CEO, Fremont-Rideout Health Group (FRHG) announced that Kristine Cassidy has been selected as the Administrator of Fremont Medical Center.
Ms. Cassidy has been serving as Director of Occupational Medicine and Rehabilitation and previously was the Director of Nutrition and Environmental Services for Fremont-Rideout Health Group. Kristine is a Registered Clinical Dietitian. She has been with the health group for
19 years and is co-chair of the FRHG Leadership Development team. Her strong leadership and operational management skills will lead the team at Fremont Medical Center.
She obtained her Bachelors of Science in Dietetics and Food Administration from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo in 1983 and her Masters of Arts in Nutrition Education from California State University, Chico in 1987.
Kristine was born at Fremont Medical Center but was raised in Ukiah and states “It feels like a true homecoming for me to be leading this facility and the great caregivers we are fortunate to have taking care of our patients.” As an example of Kristine’s commitment to our local community, previous to joining Fremont-Rideout Health Group, she was an instructor at Yuba College and a nutrition coordinator for Women’s, Infants and Children’s Programs in Yuba and Shasta Counties.
She is a member of the Sutter-Buttes Sunrise Rotary Club and Yuba City Downtown Business Association Board.
Fremont Medical Center is located in Yuba City and has 132 licensed beds. The hospital offers Women’s and Children’s services, Labor and Delivery suites and Postpartum beds, a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, Pediatric Services, a Medical/Surgical Unit and operating room suites.
