Fremont-Rideout Health Group Hires Vice President of Human Resources

(YUBA CITY – Calif.) - Theresa Hamilton, CEO, Fremont-Rideout Health Group announced that Tresha Moreland has been selected as Vice President of Human Resources.  She will start on August 22, 2007.  Tresha's career in human resources began after her graduation from Mt. Vernon Nazarene University where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration in 1988. Since then, she has worked in a variety of industries including healthcare, hospitality, manufacturing and distribution as a California human resources professional. In 2000 she earned designation as a Senior Professional in Human Resources from the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM). In 2006, she earned a Masters of Science degree in Human Resource Management and earned the "Outstanding Graduate Student Award."

Tresha has served as a president and as member of the board of a chapter of the SHRM, earning a Superior Merit Award in 2002. Among the accomplishments while associated with SHRM she successfully introduced a "Celebrate Diversity" initiative that brought diversity based recruiting outreach resources to area employers.

Her passion for both human resources and education lead her to serve on a number of small employer education panels. Through these panels, she has provided practical information about state and federal employment law and best practices for the workplace and authored an employer's guide called the California Leave Toolkit. She has also participated in a job skills academy designed to teach high school students the skills needed to successfully compete in the labor market.  Tresha is pursuing a secondary master’s degree in Business Administration.
