The social worker at Fremont-Rideout Cancer Center is a professional member of the cancer center staff. Our social worker assists patients and their families with the social, financial, psychological and family problems associated with a diagnosis of cancer and outpatient treatment.

The social worker and our multidisciplinary team provide and facilitate services for cancer patients and visits privately with them and their families to discuss various needs. All information shared with the social worker is confidential. With patient approval, the social worker may contact other community agencies to assist when needed.
