The
Fremont-Rideout
Cancer
Center opened its doors in September of 2000. Our state-of-the-art treatment facility is affiliated with the
University of
California Davis Health Systems Cancer Care Network , providing our cancer patients and their families with the most up-to-date and effective cancer care in our community.
The
Fremont-Rideout
Cancer
Center integrates care management, radiation oncology, medical oncology, hematology and clinical trials with a team of highly trained board certified physicians, oncology certified nurses and radiation therapists.
Our patients receive the quality of care that they might expect from a large university medical center with the compassion and personalization of a community hospital. The center also creates a warm, patient friendly ambiance, highlighted by lush gardens and plenty of sunlight.
Since 2005, our facility has been accredited by the
American
College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer (ACoS CoC) as a “Community Hospital Cancer Program”. This is a prestigious honor in that the ACoS sets high standards in providing quality care to our cancer patients. Our cancer center also receives high scores from Press Ganey for patient satisfaction.
The 21,952-square foot building houses our cancer services in one location, making the treatment process less stressful for our patients. Our hours of operation are from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. The
Fremont-Rideout
Cancer
Center has contracts with most of the major insurance companies in the area and we accept Medicare, Medi-Cal and cash payment for those patients who do not carry insurance.
The mission for the
Fremont-Rideout
Cancer
Center is to provide the highest quality patient care, utilizing state-of-the-art equipment, technology and the greatest degree of medical expertise. We will always exercise the upmost compassion and empathy, putting above all else the emotional comfort and physical well being of our patients and their families.
