Fremont-Rideout Cancer Center and Hospice Patients!

On April 6, 2009 the Fremont-Rideout Foundation Teen Leadership Council participated in a fundraiser partnered by California Red’s Café and the Fremont- Rideout Foundation. The council members cleaned off tables, greeted customers and helped the wait staff and interacting with the customers who came to support the effort.

 

California Red’s Café donated 30% of net sales, $1590.50. The proceeds will benefit the Cancer Center and Hospice Discretionary Funds.

 

The Discretionary Fund Program empowers social workers and staff to help patients immediately. The fund provides assistance with basic needs such as food, beds and help withhome maintenance for families that are already

struggling through a difficult time.
