Fremont-Rideout Foundation is providing students a unique opportunity to participate in healthcare education, philantropy and community service.
Thirty area high school students from Yuba City, River Valley, Sutter Union, Live Oak and Wheatland High Schools were chosen by high school administrators to be members of the Teen Leadership Council. The council was established in an effort to engage young adults who have demonstrated outstanding leadership skills and a strong desire to make a difference in our community. Membership in the Teen Leadership Council is a privilege and an opportunity only open to students who excel in academics, who are leaders in their school and have an interest in healthcare. Members of the council will attend monthly meetings as well as participate in seasonal activities that are sanctioned by Fremont-Rideout Foundation. Members will also act as spokespersons for the Fremont-Rideout Foundation and liaisons for their school. This opportunity will provide the students a unique chance to job shadow our healthcare professionals, participate in philanthropic activities and help plan and host events for Fremont-Rideout Foundation.
