Flexible Shift Choices:
FRHG offers shift choices to suit the life-work choices each employee needs to make. These include 8 hour, 12 hour and in select units, 10 hour shifts.
In addition to fulltime and regular part time status, FRHG offers Extra Help status and Per Diem status for those employees who require more flexibility in their schedules:

Extra Help requires an employee to be available to work 1 day per month or 12 days per year with at least half the availability on weekends, plus 1 major holiday.

Per Diem status requires an employee to be available to work at least 4 shifts per 4 week schedule (including at least 2 weekend days), and at least 1 major and 1 minor holiday per year. Per Diem is compensated at higher rates than part time or extra help rates. Both Per Diem and Extra Help are non-benefited categories.

A Critical Care Per Diem Pool is a group of highly skilled CVICU, ICU , Stepdown, Telemetry and CVOR RNs who earn top hourly rates for their specialized knowledge.
F.R.E.S.H
This is the Fremont Rideout Extra Shift Hours program that serves as an in-house registry. It is available to Part-Time, Regular Part-Time or Regular Full-Time RNs and LVNs who preschedule extra availability for extra shifts. These hours are not guaranteed and there will be no accrual of benefits for registry hours worked. These shifts will be compensated at substantially higher rates and paychecks are issued separately for registry hours worked.
Forgivable Study Loans
Employees of FRHG may apply for scholarships from the foundation to continue an approved field of study. This loan is forgivable over two years.
Educational Loan Repayment
Repayment of past educational loans for specified fields of study is available when you are employed as part of the FRHG team. This loan is forgivable over a one or two year period of full time employment.
Relocation Assistance
FRHG offers a generous relocation allowance and optional fiscal counseling in order to maximize usage of the allowance. One year or two year contracts are optional in exchange for the relocation assistance.
Free Continuing Education Units (CEU)
CEUs are offered on a wide variety of specialities by internal staff and by renowned industry specific speakers.
Longevity Bonus
Employees who have completed their 10th year of service earn an annual bonus to recognize long service and loyalty.
Specialty Pay/Certification Pay
Employees who achieve national certifications in their specialty receive additional pay. (e.g. CCRN, CNOR, and ANA)
Night Shift Bonus
Select night shift positions .may earn night shift bonuses.
Malpractice and Liability Insurance
FRHG provides malpractice and liability insurance for all employees.
Preceptorship Pay
Preceptor training classes are offered and selected nurses are rewarded financially for filling the role of preceptor as part of the GRIP program
Charge Nurse Pay
Charge Nurses are given leadership training and compensated for achieving positions of responsibility.
Incentive pay
Incentive Pay is available to regular part-time RNs and LVNs who have met their regularly scheduled hours in a pay period and who opt to work additional shifts up to 80 hours per pay period.
On-Call Pay
This is paid to specified staff on mandatory call and differs according to classifications.
