How The Program Works

As our valued employees, you know what this organization needs to maintain the status of the "Employer of Choice." Therefore, we want your help to recruit and retain quality employees in hard-to-fill positions.

To recognize your assistance with recruitment, a referral bonus will be granted to FRHG benefited employees who refer an applicant who is successfully placed into a hard-to-fill position.

Eligibility

All benefited employees are eligible, with the exception of Senior Leadership and Human Resource employees.

Exclusions

The following are not eligible for referral under this program:

  • Current employees
  • Transfer employees
  • Temporary and contract employee
  • Referrals for new graduates from Yuba College, Butte College, CSU Chico
  • Referrals requiring alien visas (TN, H1B, etc) CGFNS approval or green card sponsorships

Conditions for Referral

  • Referring employee must be actively employed with FRHG at the time of the referral as well as at the time of each bonus reward pay out
  • Referral must be for full time or benefited part time status
  • Potential candidates must not be under consideration as a bona fide referral from another source or already on file with the FRHG's Recruitment Office as a previously referred candidate.
  • Referring employee must be in good standing with the organization to be considered for bonus eligibility.
  • 5-Star jobs are open to EVERY employee, with the exception of Senior Leadership and Human Resource employees.
  • Directors, managers and supervisors can refer candidates to any department except their own.

Candidate Referral Eligibility Requirements

To be eligible for referral under the Employee Referral Program, referred applicants must fully meet the qualification requirements llisted in the job description for the position.

Referral Procedure

The employee making the referral must submit the following to the Human Resources Department:

  • Completed referral form obtained from Human Resources
  • Completed online application with the referring employee's name disignated as such
  • All referral information must be received by Recruitment prior to the candidate's interview and indicate the specific job for which she/he is applying, either in writing or through the online application form.

Duplicate Referrals

If duplicate referrals occur, the first referral received (based on the date of submission) will be eligible for payment. If a joint referral is made (and received at the same time), the Referral Bonus will be split evenly between the referring staff.

Selection Procedures

The employment application will be reviewed through the normal hiring procedures. The appropriate Recruiter will review the application. If the applicant meets the specified qualifications for the position, the applicant will be referred to the hiring department for review and evaluation. The hiring manager will make the selection decision for the position. All information regarding the interview and the reason(s) for making a decision not to hire an applicant will remain strictly confidential 

Position Changes

If a referred employee changes to another position that is full time and benefited, the referrer will remain eligible for the Referral Bonus.
