Local Florist helps Kick Off Teleflora's National 2010 Make Someone Smile Week
Patients at Rideout facilities: The Fremont Rideout Cancer Center; The Courtyard, The Fountains and The Gardens; Fremont-Rideout Home Health and Hospice and Women & Infants Services at Fremont will benefit from a special delivery beginning, Monday, July 19 thanks to Country Florist owner/operator Kevin DeHoff and a host of generous volunteers including members of the Fremont-Rideout Teen Leadership Council (TLC).
Country Florist is participating along with thousands of Teleflora member florists across the country in the Make Someone Smile Week program, the floral industry's leading benevolent project.
The program runs from July 18 through July 24, and is a coordinated effort spearheaded by local Teleflora member florists who volunteer their time to create and deliver bouquets to those who need a smile. Florists in more than 100 cities throughout the U.S. and Canada, are expected to participate this year.
According to DeHoff, deliveries to the following local agencies will be made:
• July 19 The Rideout Cancer Center.
• July 20 The Courtyard, The Fountains and The Gardens
• July 20 Rideout Home Health and Hospice
• July 20 Women & Infants Center at Fremont Medical Center
"I am honored to be able to participate in this worthwhile project," said DeHoff. "And, I am truly appreciative of the volunteers - and the young TLC members - who will be helping me design the arrangements all day Sunday, July 18."
