According to healthcare experts, traditional solutions, such as hysterectomy, particularly the commonly used total abdominal hysterectomy are more costly to the healthcare system and therefore more costly to patients.
Dr. Genobaga's presentation will include:
• Reasons for hysterectomy
Fibroids, Menorrhagia, Endometriosis, Uterine Prolapse, Female Reproductive Cancers, Heavy Uterine Bleeding
• What is hysterectomy?
Abdominal, Vaginal, Laparoscopic.
• Do I really need a Hysterectomy?
Often a hysterectomy is an elective treatment, meaning there may be other options available to treat fibroids, endometriosis, uterine pro-lapse and heavy bleeding.
- If having a hysterectomy is the best option for you, there are several types of hysterectomies available including, minimally invasive procedures.
• Benefits of minimally invasive Hysterectomy.
Less time in the hospital, quicker recovery, less pain and less scarring.
