Introducing the 2011 Fremont-Rideout Teen Leadership Council

Thirty-six area high school students were chosen by high school administrators and Rideout board members to be installed as members of the 2011 Teen Leadership Council (TLC).

The Rideout TLC provides students a unique chance to:

  • Enjoy privileged opportunities to meet hospital staff, physicians and FRHG senior leaders in order to gain insight into a career in health care
  • Job shadow our healthcare professionals
  • Participate in philanthropic activities
  • Help plan and host events, which benefit the Rideout Foundation

Members of the TLC are expected to:

  • Attend monthly meetings
  • Participate in seasonal activities that are sanctioned by the Rideout Foundation
  • Act as spokespersons for the Rideout Foundation and liaisons for their high school

The TLC was established in an effort to engage young adults who have demonstrated outstanding leadership skills and a strong desire to make a difference in our community. Membership in the TLC is free. Membership is an opportunity open to students who excel in academics, who are leaders in their school and who have an interest in healthcare.
