Alex Samay - Actor/Technician:
Alex Samay is a man with too many dreams for the short lifespan that is natural to the general human - or at least that’s what he would say. Alex started acting during his freshman year of high school and has acted in many plays varying from Shakespeare’s Much Ado About Nothing to Dale Wasserman’s Man of La Mancha. At age 19 Alex was nominated for an Elly Award for “Best Supporting Actor” for his part in the Acting Company’s production of Bullshot Crummond, in which he played a total of 7 different characters in one play.
Since then Alex has taken voice lessons from the Acting Company alum Zach Larvic, and has taken professional acting training with Sacramento’s Studio 24, and hopes to continue training in the future. While he has a passion for acting he’s recently taken a break from acting to focus on his other various interests. Along with his role in Rideout Healthy Kids, you may have seen Alex in his role as a pizza delivery driver and he’s trying to find the time to finish creating and eventually publish his various book projects, including a collection of 7 Maze books, children books, anime comics, thrillers, and complicated tales of time travel, all which he’s started and not finished. Alex is also saving up money to patent some of the inventions that have collected in a notebook of his, and is busy with many, many other “quests” of life as well.
In addition to performing with Rideout Healthy Kids, Alex will serve as a technician on the Spring 2016 Tour.
