Teen Leadership Council (TLC)
The TLC was established in an effort to engage young adults with demonstrated leadership skills in a meaningful program that supports both Rideout Health and the community. The mission of Teen Leadership Council is to act as a liaison and advocate for the Rideout Health Foundation through philanthropic, community service and healthcare education participation. The TLC is comprised of more than 30 sophomore and junior students from six local high schools.
Professional Advisory Council
The mission of the Professional Advisory Council (PAC) is to help donors with charitable, financial and estate planning services when a philanthropic gift is designated to The Rideout Health Foundation.
Some council members work in our community as CPAs, accountants, financial planners and attorneys. Others are experts in real estate, investments or insurance. All are trained to assist donors with tax, estate and income challenges. Planned giving consultations may include the design of charitable remainder trusts, annuity trusts, lead trusts and life estates.
The PAC sponsors financial planning seminars and meets four times annually. For member information call (530) 751-4070.
If you are thinking about adding The Foundation to your estate plan or have included the medical center in your will, you are invited to participate in the Bequest Society. The Bequest Society is designed to recognize individuals who want to give something back to their community through a financial planned gift. Bequest Society members provide an endowment that will serve Yuba-Sutter-Butte-Nevada residents for generations to come.
As a member of the Rideout Health Foundation Bequest Society, you will receive annual recognition in our publication, an invitation to the annual Evening of Appreciation and the Fairway to Health Sponsor Party and a special gift when joining.
To learn more about the Bequest Society and how you can contribute to the future health of your community, call Carol Ramirez, VP, Rideout Health Foundation at (530) 751-4070 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Many employers sponsor matching gift programs and will match any charitable contributions made by their employees. To find out if your company has a matching gift policy, please inquire with your employer's human resource department or contact us and we will help.
