The fifth Annual Dance with Our Stars (DWOS)
A benefit for the Rideout Health Foundation
June 19 and June 20 at Colusa Casino Resort, 3770 California 45, Colusa.
The event is a spinoff of the hit television show "Dancing With the Stars." The event is underwritten entirely by the Colusa Casino Resort.
“Colusa Casino pays for everything,” explained Carol Ramirez, SVP, RHF. “They provide the venue, the professional sound and lighting and their staff to help during the event. It’s an incredibly generous gift to us.”
About the Event/ Awards
Community and Philanthropic minded individuals sign up to be a "Celebrity" and agree to raise a minimum of $5,000 to participate. Each celebrity is paired with a "Pro" and together they perform two dances.
Judges Choice is for dancing ability and entertainment, People's Choice goes to the dancer that raises the most money overall and Voter's Choice goes to the dancer who raises the most money the night of their performance. Each "Celebrity" has a dance professional that guides them through more than a 12-week training process.
Tickets are $35 and are available at RideoutHealth.org/giving. Once on the donation page scroll to Step 1 and choose "Dance with Our Stars" on the drop down menu, click on the box titled "Other" and fill in the word "ticket" and name of the dancer that you wish to support. Continue the 3-Step process to purchase your tickets. General seating tickets available for $35.00 each. Even if you are not attending, you can still support your favorite dancer or dancers. Your donation may help him or her win the coveted "Voter's Choice" award. Thank you for your support.
Who benefits from the DWOS Proceeds?
The Rideout Health Foundation so that they may contribute to the on-going success of Rideout Health by supporting capital improvement projects, technology and programs benefitting patients and the community. A portion of the proceeds will also be made to the American Red Cross of Northeastern California.
