Physician Bio

Dr. Christopher Genobaga of the Rideout Women’s Health Clinic has been an obstetrician/gynecologist in the Yuba-Sutter area since 2000, with appointments to both Rideout Memorial Hospital and Fremont Medical Center. He has served as both Vice Chair and Chair of the Ob/Gyn Department at Fremont, which is home to Rideout’s Women and Infants Service. He has been Board Certified in this specialty since 2003.

Dr. Genobaga received his medical degree from Loma Linda University in 1996, and completed his four-year residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the White Memorial Medical Center in Los Angeles in 2000. In that same year he was named Top Resident 2000 by the American Society for Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology for his work in this field. He also received an Award of Special Excellence in Endoscopic Procedures from the American Association of Gynecologic Laproscopists.

He is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and a member of the American Medical Association.

In addition to spending time with his wife and their four kids, Dr. Genobaga enjoys playing hockey and rooting for the NHL’s Montreal Canadiens.
